How can I help you?

Every appointment starts with your horse. I'll assess your horse's back for soreness and muscle development, then perform a thorough evaluation of your current saddle using the seven key points of saddle fit. Throughout the process, I'll explain what I'm seeing and how it affects both you and your horse.
Next, we'll move to a ridden evaluation to see how the saddle performs in motion. If your saddle is wool flocked, adjustments can often be made during the appointment to improve balance, stability, and your horse's comfort.
My goal is always to help your current saddle work as well as possible before recommending a replacement, ensuring you leave with a clear understanding of your horse's saddle fit and the best path forward.

Not every saddle needs to be replaced to improve its fit. For foam-paneled saddles, strategically placed shims can help improve balance, stability, and comfort when flocking adjustments aren't an option.
Shims can also be used to accommodate temporary changes in your horse's topline or natural asymmetries, helping create a more even fit while your horse develops strength and muscle. Every shim placement is customized to your horse and adjusted as their needs change.

Wool flocking allows the fit of your saddle to be fine-tuned as your horse changes over time. By adjusting the flocking, I can improve balance, address minor asymmetries, enhance weight distribution, and create a more comfortable fit for your horse.
Horses backs are constantly changing with age, fitness, and workload, periodic flocking adjustments are an important part of keeping a well-fitting saddle performing at its best.

Finding the right saddle is about creating the best partnership between horse and rider. During a saddle selection appointment, you'll have the opportunity to ride in a variety of Trilogy saddle models while I evaluate the fit, your position, and how each saddle performs in motion.
As an authorized Trilogy fitter, I carry a full range of demo saddles, allowing you to compare different seat sizes, flap configurations, knee blocks, tree widths, and panel options before making a decision. Trilogy saddles are thoughtfully designed with wool flocked panels, allowing the fit to be adjusted as your horse develops and changes over time.
Together, we'll compare the options, discuss what feels best, and determine which model offers the best combination of comfort, balance, and long-term performance for both you and your horse.
